Professor Samya Taright-Mahi, professor of pulmonology, has held several responsibilities in medical education in Algeria. She served as director of pedagogy, then vice-dean for pedagogy at the Algiers Faculty of Medicine, quality-assurance lead at the University of Algiers, and chair of the National Medical Education Committee tasked with reforming medical studies.
She currently chairs the Algerian Society of Pulmonology.
